  • What if my ring breaks or is damaged?

    • We are in this together - for life. Our bands are always made with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship, but we understand that life happens.  We have made a commitment to you and will fix or replace any damaged items, forever. 

      Please email us at hello@justehis.com with photos and a description of the damage so we can make it right.

  • What if I change my mind?

    • If for some reason you are not satisfied with your ring or your personal situation changes, we will allow you to return an item in its original condition and packaging within 60 days of your purchase with valid proof of purchase. Please email us at hello@justehis.com to initiate your return. If you initiate a return within 10 days of receiving, and you're a US customer, we’ll cover the cost of shipping it back for you.

  • Can it be resized?

    • If you receive a ring that is too big or too small, send us a note and we will resize your ring free of charge within 60 days of purchase. We recommend you check out our ring size guide before deciding on your size. Please note: this service is available to US customers only.

  • Can I customize my ring?

    • Yes, we offer complimentary engraving to make your ring your own. 

      After you place your order, send us a message with your order number letting us know exactly what you want engraved on your ring. If your desired engraving will not work, we will contact you to discuss an alternative.

  • What if my ring gets scuffed?

    • As an added benefit of joining the Marriage Club, we will give you free repolishing that is redeemable once per year. Simply send us a note to redeem. Each additional repolishing will cost $50. Please note: this service is available to US customers only.

      (Note on the Marriage Club: Once you purchase your ring, you’re in! There are no additional steps or fees to be in the club - we can’t wait to welcome you!)

  • How often should I polish my ring?

    • You lose gold each time you repolish your ring, so we recommend you repolish no more than once per year.

  • How should I care for my ring?

    • Our rings are made for everyday wear, which may mean dirt or scratches over time. For at-home care, you can purchase a ring cleaner or simply use dish soap and hot water for up to 10 minutes. 

      If your ring is damaged or scuffed, let us know and we will fix, polish, or replace it. Like we said, we’re in this together long after the purchase.

  • What do the karats (14-karat and 18-karat) mean?

    • 24-karat gold is pure gold.  

      It is very soft and therefore scratchable, which makes it less than ideal for jewelry.  The karat count is a unit to measure the pure-gold content.  

      18-karat gold is 75% gold and 25% premium gold alloy.  It is higher in pure gold and a bit softer than 14-karat gold, which is just under 60% pure gold and about 40% premium gold alloy (58.3% and 41.7% respectively if you want to get technical).  

      While all gold is subject to scuffs, if you are someone who values higher gold purity, the 18-karat ring is ideal for you.  If you’re outdoorsy or work with your hands, you may find more lasting wearability from a 14-karat ring. The lower pure-gold content makes it a bit stronger. 

      No matter which you choose, rest assured, we have your back.  If it starts to scuff we offer free annual polishings to keep it looking nice - for life.

  • What are the different finishes?

    • We offer three finishes: brushed, polished, and sandblasted matte.  Finishes vary by ring - see the product description for available polishes on your preferred style.
